Robert Lee Shaw, age 72 of Seguin, passed away on May 6, 2012. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Graveside services and interment with military honors will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Dugger Cemetery with Rev. Mike Rodriguez officiating. Robert was born on May 22, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas to Charles and Gladys Mildred Gilmore Shaw. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Lucille Shaw. Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Betty Lou Springs Shaw; daughter, Diana Helton and husband J. Harley; grandsons Dustin and Ryan Krueger; brothers, Charles Shaw, Jr. and wife Alice, and Ronnie Shaw; aunt, Bobbie Gilmore; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
