A'Lisa Dixon Seleen, age 52 of Cibolo, formerly of Seguin, passed away on May 24, 2013. A memorial service celebrating A' Lisa's life will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Marvin D. Koenig officiating. A reception will follow at the Silver Center. Private interment will be held at a later date. A'Lisa was born on December 18, 1960 in Seguin, Texas to Gene C. and Jody Solmky Dixon. A'Lisa was a 1979 graduate of Seguin High School and a 1981 graduate of Texas State Technical Institute. She currently served as the Executive Director of the Seguin Guadalupe County Senior Center (Silver Center). A'Lisa loved cooking, embroidery, and taking trips to New Orleans. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Gene C. Dixon. Survivors include her loving husband of 31 years, Glenn Seleen; daughters, Ashley Daniels and husband Jay and Brandi Brown and husband Jonathan; grandchildren, M'Kenzie Daniels, Quinton Daniels, Jaxson Daniels, Samson Brown, and Kaylyn Brown; mother, Jody Dixon; brother, Chuck Dixon and wife DeeDee; niece Ashley Christian; aunt, Grace Saegert; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rod and Wilma Seleen; sister-in-law, Gail Seleen; brother-in-law, Greg Seleen and wife Colleen; numerous cousins and other loving family members and many friends.
