A. J. Johnson, Jr., age 66 of Seguin, passed away on October 5, 2008. Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Ed Bilderback and Rev. John Howarton officiating. Military honors and Masonic and Eastern Star rites will be included in the services. Private interment will take place at a later date. A. J. was born on September 8, 1942 in Seguin, Texas to Aubrey Jay and Lucile Spahn Johnson. A.J. graduated from Seguin High School in 1961 and from college in Clear Lake , Texas where he received his degree in psychology. He served in the United States Navy and was retired from the Texas Department of Corrections. He was a member of Living Waters Worship Center. He served as Past Master of the Guadalupe Lodge 109 A.F. & A. M. and Past Master of Nixon Lodge # 985 A.F. & A.M. He was Past Patron of the New Braunfels Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star #771 and a member of the Seguin Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star #555. He served in the San Marcos Commandry #56 Knight Templar of Texas and also the Seguin Chapter #344 of R.A. M. and member of Seguin Council #281 R.S.M. His mother precedes him in death. Survivors include his beloved life partner, Pam Jameson; sons, A. J. (Jay) Johnson III, and wife Missy and Eddie Clint Johnson; daughter, Andrea Jameson; father, A. J. Johnson, Sr.; sister, Kathy Johnson Klaehn; brother, Ron Johnson and wife Jean; grandchildren, Cody, Hannah and C.J.; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
