Adalena Klaehn, age 91 of Seguin, passed away on September 28, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. Paul J. Zwarich officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held in the Harper Community Cemetery in Harper Texas at 3 p.m. Adalena was born on December 4, 1922 in Fredericksburg Texas to Lorenz and Alma (Oehler) Wendel. She is preceded in death by her parents and great-grandson, Cash Carley Scott. Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Hilmar Klaehn; children, Ronnie Klaehn and wife Betty, Felicia "Duddy" Klaerner and husband Harold, and Gary Klaehn and wife Gretel; twin sister, Magdalena Wendel; sisters-in-law, Wanda Lott and Mae Petri; 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Klaehn, Darin Klaehn, Christopher Klaehn, Hoyt Klaerner, Weston Scott and Robby Scott. Memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel's Lutheran Church, 206 N.
