Albert Gonzalez Cuevas, age 57 of Seguin, passed away on May 27, 2017. Albert was born on November 6, 1959 in San Antonio, Texas to George and Belia "Betty" (Gonzalez) Cuevas. At the age of 11, the family moved to McAllen, where his parents opened the famous Cuevas Restaurants. Albert worked in the family business through high school, and then went into the oilfield. He met and married the love of his life, Terry Lynn Goldman in November of 1980. Albert worked in the oilfield with several companies until settling with Cude Oilfield for the last 12 years. Albert loved people, and people loved him; he always had a joke or a better story, and will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents. Albert is survived by his loving wife, Terry Lynn Cuevas; children, Ashley Cuevas and fiancée, Rocky, Dustin Cuevas; granddaughter, Morgan Cuevas; sisters, Sylvia Gallegos and husband, Raul, Rosie Luna and husband, Eddie; sisters-in-law, Tammy Gibbs and husband, Paul, Tracy Lundin and husband, Michael; brother-in-law, J.P. Goldman and wife, April; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
