CSM Alfred H. Chenoweth USA (ret), age 80 of Seguin, passed away on June 18, 2012. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 2 to 6 p.m. with family receiving friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 22, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jim Price officiating and rendering of full military honors under the auspices of United States Army. Private Interment at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery on Monday, June 25, 2012. Alfred was born February 22, 1932 in Laddonia, Missouri to Robert Wayne and Dorcas Dean Chenoweth. He proudly served in United States Army for 28 ½ years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy J. Chenoweth, parents and several brothers. Survivors include his daughter, Sharon Cordes and husband Ronnie; granddaughter, Brandy McClary and husband Chad; brothers, Bill Chenoweth and wife Leona and Calvin Chenoweth and wife Fran; sister, Margaret LaGrange and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
