Obituary

Alfred L. Seibert passed away on August 17, 2025. He was Born on February 20, 1941 to Leo and Josephine Seibert in Des Moines lowa. He was the oldest of 6 kids.

He is survived by his wife Catherine Seibert of 62 years, son, Michael Seibert, wife Kim, grandson Jason Seibert and great granddaughter Lynzee Oldham-Seibert, brother Ed Seibert (Sandy) of Dexter, lowa and sister Elvera Johnson (Steve) of Bella Vista, Arkansas along with a niece and nephews.

He was raised working in farming and equipment repair but traded grease rags and diesel engines in for computer installation and repair. That is what brought the family to Texas from lowa. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and camping with his wife and friends. He also enjoyed time at the local Shooting Clubs and being on their leagues for some trap and skeet shooting along with Sunday fun shoots. He was also always watching the weather for the next rain so that his hayfield could produce some hay.

Everyone asks if you need anything just ask, well..... In lieu of flowers and cards please send a donation to the New Berlin Volunteer Fire Dept, 8730 FM 775, Seguin, TX 78155. Over the years they have always been the first here to help.

Special blessings to the staff and doctors at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center for everything you did. Also, special thank you to Tres Hewell Mortuary as they have been great to work with. A small celebration of life will be held at a later date at Sunny Hill Cemetery in Grimes, lowa.
