Alice May Petri Van Horn, age 81 of Seguin, formerly of San Antonio, passed away on December 5, 2014. Graveside services and interment will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Rev. Paul J. Zwarich officiating. Alice was born July 22, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas to Carl and Marian (Kinley) Petri. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Afton Van Horn, her parents and her brothers, Richard and Edwin Petri. Survivors include her children, Russell Van Horn and wife Cindy, Kathy Thompson and husband Larry, Scott Van Horn and Karen Kendrick and husband Ralph; sister Louise Russell; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members.
