Alicia Quinn Donics, 88, a resident of McQueeney, Texas, formerly of Houston, passed away, joining her family and Savior, on November 29, 2017.

Alicia was born on July 19, 1929 in Mc Kees Rocks, Pennsylvania to William and Marie (Krogulski) Quinn. After graduating as valedictorian, she went straight to work and performed as a soloist in the Pittsburgh Symphony, where she met her husband Frank. He fell in love upon hearing her sing. They later married in a church on their lunch break in Pennsylvania and lived across the United States, from New York to Texas. Alicia spent the majority of her time dedicated to serving the church and taking care of everyone around her. She passed on her love for school, singing, old movies and musicals, and compassion for serving others to her children and grandchildren. Alicia was an active member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Seguin and a former active member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Houston.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Donics, Sr., her daughter, Susan Donics and her son Frank Donics, Jr.  Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Ferrell and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Chase Ferrell and wife Amy, Kate Ferrell, Corbett Ferrell, and Christian Ferrell; great-grandson, Trip Ferrell.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at McKeogh Hall at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church followed by a memorial service at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church with The Reverend Alex Easley officiating.  Graveside services and interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston.
