Alova J. Wohlfahrt, age 84, passed away on September 2, 2013. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 6, 2013 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jim Price officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Marion. Alova was born on December 29, 1928 in Crawford Colorado to Charles and Katy Claudine Collins Pipher. She is preceded in death by her husband Kermit Wohlfahrt, her grandson, Scott Deatherage, her granddaughters, Shayne Deatherage and Heather Glover, her parents, one brother and two sisters. Survivors include her children, Harvey Bruce Deatherage and wife Pat; Johnny Ray Deatherage, James Deatherage and wife Laurie, Kerrie Glover and boyfriend David Stolleis, Karleen Back and boyfriend Floyd Chamniss, Edward Wohlfahrt and wife Brenda; step-daughters, Joyce Dale and husband Alan, Connie Kennedy and husband Wayne and Beverley Kleinjan and husband David; siblings, Luce Pipher, Crystal Pipher, Hetty Todd and husband Larry and Kermit Pipher and wife Laura; 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces nephews and other loving family and friends.
