Amy Schriewer Boyer, age 61 of Seguin, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 3, 2018. A memorial service celebrating Amy's life will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Cathe Evins and Rev. Ron Welborn officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. Amy was born on July 9, 1956 in Seguin, Texas to Allen (Buster) and Betty (Blumberg) Schriewer. Amy lived a full life in which she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved traveling, cooking and gardening. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Boyer, her father, and grandson, Jax Kopecky. Survivors include her daughter, Julia Benton and fiancé, Nathan Kopecky; granddaughter, Chloe Kopecky; mother, Betty Schriewer; brothers, Tommy Schriewer and wife Jennifer, Daniel Schriewer and wife Heidi, and Greg Schriewer and wife Catherine; sister, Susie Reneau and husband Butch; numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends.
