Andres Casarez, Jr., age 74 of Seguin, passed away on February 5, 2018. Visitation will begin at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:30 a.m. The mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Andres was born on August 16, 1943 in Kenedy, Texas to Andres Casarez, Sr. and Juanita Soliz Casarez. Andres is preceded in death by his wife Lydia G. Casarez and his parents. Survivors include his sons, Andres Casarez III, George Luis Casarez and Frank Moreno; grandchildren, George Anthony Casarez, Melinda Casarez, Robert Moreno, Priscilla Andrade, Joseph Andrade, and Jennifer Andrade; brothers, Ignacio Casarez and wife Hope and Pedro Casarez and wife Janie; sister, Mary Spence; brother-in-law, Robert Garcia and wife Elena; sister-in-law, Yolanda Guerrero and husband Raul; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
