Faithful servant to the Lord through Kingsbury Baptist Church, Anna "Ann" Ruth Bertling, age 77 of Kingsbury, passed away on June 19, 2016. She was born August 6, 1938 in Lepanto, Arkansas to Kelly Curtis and Arzella (Fain) Boland. Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bertling; her parents; and her brother Jay Boland. Ann is survived by her children, Curtis Bertling and wife Sheryn, Craig Bertling, Brook Brown and husband Cary, Blake Bertling and wife Jennifer, Brent Bertling and wife Crystal; grandchildren CJ Bertling, Maycie Bertling, Tanner Bertling, Lexi Bertling, Luke Bertling, Cammi Bertling, Chris Brown, Addie Brown, Claire Brown, Wyatt Brown, Morgan Carnes, Keely Bertling, Emery Bertling; Christian Bertling, Landon Bertling and Bethany Bertling who went with her GeeGee to be with the Lord; brother Gene Boland and wife Pat; sisters Betty Meyer and husband Jim, Kathleen Pitts and husband David; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Seguin with Rev. Tom Jones, Rev. Larry Carson and Rev. Dr. Brice Mandaville officiating. Interment will follow in the Kingsbury Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Emmons, JJ Brashears, Neal Brashears, Andrew Pastrano, Don Steen, Mark Van Rosendael, and Kevin Hurley.
