Annette Fanson Krause, passed away at the age of 78 on January 31, 2016. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, February 5, 2016 from 5-7 pm at Tres Hewell Mortuary.
Annette lived with a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of the world around her. In recent years, she dedicated much of her time and energy volunteering at the Texas state parks that provided her so much joy and so many fond memories. She loved to show family and friends the parks she called home when serving as a host. Annette was dedicated to her family; those who knew her felt the same warmth, dedication, and love that defined her family.
Annette was born on February 12, 1937 in Gulf, Texas to George Lyman and Ida Leona (Stoermer) Fanson. At a young age she moved with her parents to Seguin where she grew up, attended school, and cultivated friendships that she maintained throughout her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Raymond Krause; parents, Lyman and Ida (Stoermer) Fanson; infant brother, Gerald Lyman Fanson. Annette is survived by her sons Eric Krause, John and Sara (Cowles) Krause, Peter and Melanie (Steffen) Krause; daughter, Edie (Krause) and Matt Smithey; grandchildren; Michael, Jeremy, and Gabriel Polinard-Krause, JR, William, and Lola Krause, Amber, Derek and Colleen (Decker) Krause, and Sam and Candace (Krause) Woodlee, Hailey and Tyler Smithey; great-grandchildren, Shannon and Shelby Krause, Victoria, Sable, Colton, and Adeline Krause.
