Arthur "Boogie" Vivroux, age 79 of Seguin, passed away on June 30, 2013. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Emanuel's Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul J. Zwarich officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. "Boogie" was born on February 14, 1934 in Seguin, Texas to Arthur and Violet Schraub Vivroux. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years Carolyn Dieckow Vivroux, his parents and his sister-in-law, Dianne Biel. Survivors include his son, Michael Vivroux; daughter, Rev. Jill Vivroux and husband Clarence Gerke; sister Judy Scheffel and husband Fritz; Uncle, Landa Schraub and wife Marcella; brother-in-law, Rick Biel and wife Laura; sister-in-law, Paulette Warren and husband Bill; nieces and nephews, Allison Biel, Fritzi Ann Griffis and husband Andrew, Patty Pearce and husband James, Jennifer Presnall and husband Matt and Steve Scheffel.
