Obituary

Aubrey Herman Krueger, age 82, of Geronimo, passed away on March 9, 2014. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 10 a. m. at Cross Church with Rev. Jim Price officiating and military honors under the auspices of the United States Air Force. Private interment will be held at a later date. A reception will follow at Cross Church Fellowship Hall. Aubrey was born on September 26, 1931 in Marion Texas to Milton and Hilda (Laechlin) Krueger. He grew up on the farm near Marion and attended Marion schools. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a radio maintenance technician stationed in Germany. He was a long time member of Cross Church. He worked at Goodyear and later opened Krueger Automotive in Geronimo. He enjoyed fishing, dancing, bowling and playing dominoes. He especially loved spending time with family and friends. Aubrey is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Polly Statts and Peggy Perry and his brother Neal Krueger. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Hilda Haberle Krueger; sons, Kevin Krueger and wife Debbie, Greg Krueger and wife Michelle, Duane Krueger and Byron Krueger and wife Joan; grandchildren, Drew, Kyle, Brett, Marc, Abby, Carolyn and husband Austin, David and wife Rachel, Dhea, Kara, and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Austin, Skylar, Emily, Vaden and Carter; siblings, Russell Krueger and wife Dorisse, Gloria Ramsey, Phyllis Frymire and husband Olan, Milton Krueger and wife Betty, Clara Huebinger, Allan Krueger and wife Ruby, Ronald Krueger, Loretta Mosley and husband Bob, and Diana Thompson; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Matheaus and husband Frank and Angela Haberle; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family member and many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cross Church Memorial Fund, 814 N. Bauer, Seguin Texas, 78155 or to the Geronimo Volunteer Fire Department, P. O. Box 51, Geronimo, Texas 78115.
