Audry June Brewster, age 77 of Seguin, passed away on December 12, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Carl McCauley officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. June was born on September 6, 1931 in Nacogdoches, Texas to John Robert and Lura Feazell Prince. She was mascot for the Nacogdoches High School Band and was an honors student having graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 1948. She received her Bachelor's Degree in the Plan II Honor Program from the University of Texas in Austin and later a Masters Degree from East Texas State University. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Her memberships included the Daughters of the American Revolution and past president of the Abishai Mercer Dickson Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. She also was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was an elder and served on the women's counsel. She taught school for 26 years. June was an avid gardener and reader and will be lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her parents and her brother, John Prince precede her in death. Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Allen Brewster; son, Andrew Brewster and wife, Laura; daughter, Dr. Carol Pearson and husband, Bob; sisters, Judy Lindley and husband, Joe, Dr. Diane Prince, and Linda Willoughby and husband, Gary; grandchildren, Amanda and Clayton Brewster and Bradley and Rachel Pearson; numerous nieces and nephews.
