Ava Grace Hill Weaver, age 80 of Seguin, formerly of Hamlin, passed away on October 30, 2009. Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home in Hamlin on Sunday, November 1, 2009 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Funston near Anson. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery. Ava was born on April 13, 1929 in Jones County, Texas to James Frank and Annie Mae Newton Hill. She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church in Midland. She is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include her children, Dennis Weaver and wife Janice, Dwayne Weaver and wife, Dana, Dereta Harshbarger and Darren Weaver and wife Holly; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Donal Earl Hill; sister, Maureen Gernertt; father of her children, James F. Weaver; numerous nieces and nephews; Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
