Barbara Batey

Barbara Batey, age 86 of Seguin, passed away on August 23, 2026. Barbara was born on March 7, 1940, in Seguin, Texas to Edna (Jahns) and Edwin Paul Heideke.

Immediate survivors include her daughters, Bobbie, Julie and Robin.

A memorial service celebrating Barbara’s life will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Cross Church with the Reverend Jim Price officiating. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.

Private interment will be held at a later date in the Nockenut Cemetery in Wilson County.
