Barbara Jo Cook, age 69 of Seguin, Texas went to be with her Savior on May 12, 2015. Barbara was born on May 14, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Clayton Leo and Jo Evelyn (Zinn) Taylor. She is survived by her life partner, Barbara L. Futrell; son, Corey Cook and wife Gabriela; granddaughter, Caily Cook; brother, Jackie Brown and wife Sandra; her two beloved four legged family members, Tori and Oda Mae; other loving family members and friends. Barbara held an Associate Business Degree and a Labauch Teaching Certificate. She served as a Juvenile Probation Officer and Foster Parent prior to enjoying a career in the financial medical field until her retirement in 2008.
