Barbara Ellen Dockins, age 87 of Seguin, passed away on November 5, 2008. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. with Brother Butch Ikels officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow at a later date at St. Clair memorial Park Cemetery in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Barbara was born in Madison, Illinois on January 24, 1921 to John and Altha Ivell Kilmer Shoulet. A true Christian woman, she attended church services with her daughter and family. She retired from Memorial Hospital as their laundry supervisor in Belleville, Illinois. Barbara was a wonderful cook and seamstress and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her husband, Clyde V. Dockins, her parents, and her brother, Charles Shoulet and several other siblings precede her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Moody and husband, Charles of LaVernia, Texas; grandchildren, Larry Moody and wife, Tanya and Michelle Wille and husband, Ian; great-grandson, Trent Moody; numerous nieces and nephews.
