Barbara Reiley Herbold, age 59 of Seguin, passed away on March 2, 2009. Visitation will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Friday, March 6, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 7p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 7,2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jim Price officiating. Interment will follow in Boecker Cemetery. Barbara was born on November 1, 1949 in Seguin, Texas to Ottmar and Vera Haas Reiley. She was a member of Cross United Church in Seguin. Barbara loved reading, walking along the river, talking with friends and family, roller skating and site seeing new country. Her husband, Hugh Herbold precedes her in death as does her parents, sister, Carol Preece, brother, Virgil Reiley, brothers-in-law, Jesse Talley and Alvin Herbold and sister-in-law, Myrtle Krause. Survivors include her son, Heath Herbold; daughters, Amber and husband, Bryan Storey and Veronica and husband Rick Mederos; grandsons, Chance and Kyle Storey; sister, Peggy Talley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Buster Preece, Ben and Mary Schneider, Hugo, Jr. and Arlene Herbold, T. J. Herbold, Wilton Krause, Sylvia Herbold, Darvin and Kay Herbold, and Jim and Katy Herbold; nieces, Lisa and husband Dave Alcorn and Michelle Talley; great nephews, Austin and Tyler Alcorn; aunts, Etelka Rust, Elvira Weidner, Lucille Herbold, Lucille Talley and Edna Talley; numerous other loving family and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Austin Alcorn, Tyler Alcorn, Larry Reiley, Jim Herbold, Harvey Rust and Dr. Earl Johnson.
