Barrett L. Dempster, age 44 of Seguin, passed away on October 10, 2026. Barrett was born on September 29, 1982, in New Braunfels, Texas to Judith Gayle Ammerman and Russell Eugene Dempster.

Barrett is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mel Ammerman and Donald and Laurie Jane Dempster.

Survivors include his daughters, Makayla Dempster and partner, Jason Martin, Jr., and Lauren Dempster; grandchildren, Ovelio Moreno, Parker McCord and Paislee McCord; parents, Judith and Russell Dempster; brother, Bryan Dempster and partner, Amanda Rodriguez; grandmother, Bess Ammerman; niece, Lilly Dempster; aunt, Donna Kindley and husband, Gaylen; uncle, Frank K. Dempster; friend and mother of his daughters, Vanessa Rodriguez; several cousins, other loving family members and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 9 a.m. followed by a memorial service celebrating Barrett’s life at 10 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Stephen Shortess officiating. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bryan Dempster, Victor Pizana, Michael Mertz, Michael Carnes, Myles McCord and Jason Martin, Jr.
