Beatrice Trigo Cardenas was born in Cuero, Texas on Nov. 12, 1926 and passed away on Jan. 12, 2015 at the age of 88. Beatrice was preceded in death by her father, Pedro Trigo; her mother, Maria Sandoval Trigo; her husband, Jose Almaguer Cardenas; 4 brothers, Pedro Trigo Jr., George Trigo, Antonio Trigo and Eutimio Trigo; and 2 sisters, Florencia Trigo Riojas and Herlinda Trigo Benavidez.
She leaves behind 1 brother, Tomas Trigo and his wife Pauline Ortiz Trigo of Smithville, Texas, 3 sons; Johnny Cardenas and his wife Rachel Cortez Cardenas of Nixon, Texas, Gilbert Cardenas and his wife Anna Pineda Cardenas of San Antonio, Texas, Hector Cardenas of Seguin, Texas and 4 daughters; Sally Cardenas Tarvin and her husband Travis Tarvin of Brenham, Texas, Elodia Cardenas Bermea and her husband Juan Bermea of Nixon, Texas, Ofelia Cardenas Alvarez and her husband Felipe Alvarez of Giddings, Texas and Gloria Cardenas Hernandez and her husband Domingo Hernandez of Seguin, Texas. Beatrice also left behind 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and their children and many friends. Beatrice was an unbaptized publisher of the Jehovahs Witness Congregation in Brenham, Texas. She left this world peacefully with true knowledge of Jehovahs' promise of the resurrection. She loved her family and friends and she left knowing that she had many who loved her. Visitation for family and friends will begin on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Private interment will be held at a later date.
