Benito R. Garcia, age 52 of Seguin, passed away on January 2, 2012. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. followed by the recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Private interment will be held at a later date. Benito was born on August 22, 1959 in Del Rio, Texas to Marcelo and Maria Rios Garcia. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Rosa Ozuna. Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Maria Carmen Garcia; sons, Benito Garcia, Jr. and Oscar Noria, Sr. and wife Juliann; daughters, Adelaida Garcia and fiancé Mark Soto, Sr., and Beatrice Taylor and husband Charles Taylor II; 13 grandchildren, Oscar, Jr., Matthew, Alissa, and Annalicia Noria, Mark Jr., Kaitlyn, Nayeli Soto, Maria, Anastasia, Robert, and Maricela Montealvo, and Ka'siyha and Ivrin Taylor; sisters, Guadalupe Carrillo and husband Jose, Marcela Robles, and Juana Garcia; brothers, Mario Lozano and wife Eva; Juan Jose Rios and wife Antonia; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; Serving as pallbearers will be Oscar Noria, Sr., Oscar Noria, Jr., Matthew Noria, Mark Soto, Mark Soto, Jr., and Charles Taylor, II.
