Bennis D. "Ben" Fowler, age 87 of Seguin, formally of Manchester, Georgia passed away on September 9, 2020. Ben was born on August 27, 1933 in Georgia to Benjamin Otis and Mantie Loue (Gilbert) Fowler. He will be remembered as a kind, articulate with an eye for perfection. Ben was an Aircraft mechanic and one of the best at that, working many years in San Antonio before relocating to New Braunfels, folks would travel many miles to have their aircrafts serviced by Ben. He was a hard worker, a loving husband and father and will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents and his six sisters. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Billie Ruth Fowler; daughters, Terry McGill, and Donna Wesch and husband Carroll; grandchildren; Vanessa Herrera, Derrik Wesch, Colton McGill and Dalton McGill; sister-in-laws, Iva Mae Carly, Dorothy Reneau and Bess Emily Reneau; Grumpy is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many many friends. Private services will be held at a later date.
