Bernice A. Curry, age 89 of Seguin, passed away on February 15, 2013. Visitation will begin on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church followed by services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Brice Mandaville officiating. A reception will follow in the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in San Geronimo Cemetery. Bernice was born in Wilson County on September 3, 1923 to Roy Wells Allbritton and Edna Achterberg Allbritton. She was an active member and Sunday School Teacher of First Baptist Church in Seguin. She is preceded in death by her husband Tom Curry, her son, Jeff Curry, her parents and her siblings, Fan Worsham, Ann Schnitz, Louise Koepp, John Allbritton, Lucile Vorpahl and Roy Allbritton, Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Patsy Machemehl Richardson of Plano, Phyllis McCallay and husband Floyd of Alvin and Sandra Afflerbach and husband David of Seguin; sister, Margaret Needham; grandchildren, Terri Koch, David Machemehl, Traci Nichols, Mike McCallay, Brad McCallay, Greg McCallay, Melinda Pearson and Scott Afflerbach; 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
