Obituary

Berniece D. Flint, of Seguin went to her Heavenly home to join her parents Archie and Viola Dark, brother Clyde, and sister Virginia on December 4, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Wiley "Snapper" Flint; daughter, Ginger Klimas and husband Dan; son, Ronald C. Flint and wife Henny; brother, Clayton E. Dark and wife Bonnie; sister-in-law, Hazel Jackson; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. An avid golfer, Berniece enjoyed playing in tournaments throughout West Texas with her husband Snapper and their many friends. She derived a great deal of pleasure from spending summers in Port Aransas with her family, and she never missed an opportunity to toast the beauty of the beach. Throughout her life, Berniece never backed down from a challenge, and she was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother who will always hold a special place in our hearts as we remember all the memories we made together throughout her life. A Celebration of Berniece's life will be held on Saturday, December 12 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Tres Hewell Mortuary in Seguin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Guadalupe County Humane Society, P. O. Box 1593, Seguin, Texas, 78155-1593.
