Bertha I. De La Garza, age 72 of Seguin, passed away on April 6, 2013. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Private services and interment will be held at a later date. Bertha was born on December 28, 1940 in Monterrey Mexico to Julian C. and Consuelo Flores Quiroga. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Maria Catalina Quiroga and Cidalia Cajero. She is survived by her loving husband, Jose L. De La Garza; son, Jose J. De La Garza and wife Leslie; daughter, Bertha V. De La Garza; grandson, Christian De La Garza; brother, Pedro Quiroga and wife Rosario; numerous nieces and nephews.
