Bettie Marie Hoke, age 80 of Kingsbury, passed away on June 28, 2018. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Larry Carson officiating. Interment will follow in the Kingsbury Cemetery in Kingsbury. Bettie was born on September 14, 1937 in Gonzales County to Melvin, Sr. and Betty Lanora (Hiley) Carley. Bettie enjoyed gardening and fishing but her most precious time was spent with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Hoke, Jr., son Barry Hoke, and her parents. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Hoke Haydon and husband Keith; daughter-in-law, Monte Hoke; grandchildren, Christopher Hoke and wife Marisa, Hunter Haydon, Delamarie Hoke, Shelby Haydon ILL and husband Jordan, and Johnclifton Hoke; great-grandchildren, Hailey Hoke and Aidan Hoke; brothers, Melvin Carley, Jr. and wife Connie, and Alfred Carley and wife Janice; numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members and friends.
