Bettie Jane Moore Brietzke, age 86 of Seguin, passed away on October 25, 2017. Visitation will begin on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 9:30 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Marcus Bigott officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Bettie was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 28, 1931 to Patrick and Mamie (Schulz) Moore. She was a 1949 graduate of Seguin High School and always proud to be a Matador. She was a 27 year employee of Guadalupe County Abstract Co. here in Seguin. She was a member of Emanuel's Lutheran Church. To her family, Bettie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and "MeMa". Bettie is preceded in death by her husband, William Gail Brietzke and her parents. Survivors include her three loving daughters, Sheryl Brietzke, Linda Meneley and Shelly Brietzke; grandchildren, Casey Mueller, Amber Meneley and Robert Bornemann, Kyle Schriewer and wife, Stacy, and Chase Meneley and wife Amanda; great-grandchildren, Colt and Harper Meneley; sister, June Foerster; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Brice Brietzke, Chase Meneley, Gary Meneley, Jeremy Foerster, Kyle Schriewer, and Robert Bornemann.
