Betty Jean Behrendt Molter, age 69 of Seguin, passed away on February 23, 2011. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. followed by the recitation of the rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Seguin. A reception will follow the mass at the Weinert House from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in San Antonio. Betty Jean was born on August 28, 1941 in Hays County Texas to Edgar W. and Adele Simon Behrendt. She is preceded in death by her son, Edward Herman Molter, her parents, her brothers Harold Behrendt and Leslie Behrendt and sister Ruby Varney. Survivors include her husband, Donald H. Molter; son, Mark Molter and wife Leah; daughter, Kathryn Wolf and husband Greg; grandchildren, Matthew, Mitchell, and Michael Molter; Mason, Brooke and Brenna Molter; Grant, Zechariah and Chapman Wolf; sister, Pearl Horsley; brother, Vernon Behrendt and wife Carolyn; brother-in-law, Fred Molter and wife Margaret.
