Betty Faye Mergele Springs, age 80 of Seguin, passed away on October 16, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. at The Amazing Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Dugger Cemetery. Betty was born on July 4, 1933 in Kingsbury Texas to Gustav Carl and Lois Elizabeth Hurt Mergele. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Constance Renelle (Connie) Springs, her parents, her brothers, Gus Merlin Mergele and Don Terry Mergele, her sisters, Helen Maxine Mergele and Mary Ann Mergele; Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Edward Allen (Ed) Springs; children, Kenneth Edward (Glinda) Springs, Roxane Faye Miller(Ronald), Marc Andrew (Sandra)Springs and Allen Wayne (Mary) Springs; sister, Jacque Mergele (Wallace)Schuehle; sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Mergele and Lenore Mergele; grandchildren, Emily Beckett (John), Sarah Grossman (Patrick), Alex Springs, Robert Carr, Misty Adams, Morgan Springs, Sean (Katie) Springs, Elizabeth Springs, Gracie Springs, and Madison Springs; three great grandchildren, Ella Beckett, Nicholas Wallace, Colby Izard; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, other loving family members and a host of friends. Serving as pallbearers will be, Ken Springs, Marc Springs, Wayne Springs, Ronnie Miller, Sean Springs and Alex Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to The Amazing Grace Baptist Church, P. O.
