Beverly Hartwick, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away in April 2025. Born in Seguin, Texas, Beverly lived a life filled with love, devotion, and kindness, touching the hearts of everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred Hartwick; her cherished children, Christine "Chrissy" Hartwick and fiancé Anthony, Jessica Hartwick (Josh), and Curtis Hartwick and wife Kaureen; and her adored grandchildren: Kenneth Erwin and fiancé Maddy, Journie Martin, Alex Hartwick, Evan Hartwick, and Justice Hartwick.
Beverly is also survived by her devoted parents, Nolan and Shirley Schwarzlose; her siblings, Larry Schwarzlose and wife Linda, Betty Olson and husband Eric, and Barbara Eardley and husband Shane; and many loved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Her life was one marked by compassion, strength, and an unwavering love for her family. Beverly always found joy in gardening, sewing, cooking, bowling, traveling and singing in her church choir. Her kindness, creativity, and faith-filled spirit will be deeply missed. She will always and forever be remembered for her warm heart, her enduring faith, and the joy she brought to those around her.
Beverly graduated from Navarro High School and worked at Comal-Guadalupe Water and Soil Conservation service for over 40 years. She was also an active member of Friedens Church in Geronimo.
A memorial service celebrating Beverly's life will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Friedens Church with the Reverend Sonja Phillips and the Reverend Dave Phillips officiating. Interment will follow immediately after in Lone Oak Cemetery followed by a reception in the activity hall at Friedens. The family invites all who knew her to come together in remembrance and celebration of a life well lived. The family asks for guests to please wear teal or bright colors for the service. No dark or black clothes. Help us celebrate the light and happiness Beverly brought to all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers/plant donations, the family requests donations to be made directly to services or her second home Friedens Church.
