Billie Cone, age 82 of Seguin, passed away on August 5, 2011. Memorial services celebrating her life will be held on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Knolle Chapel, First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ron Welborn officiating. A reception will follow in Hierholzer Hall. Private interment will be held at a later date. Billie was born on July 5, 1929 in Rockdale, Texas to William Joseph and Lena Elizabeth Tucker Winslett. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Zella Mae Winslett and Thelma Louise (Debbie) Cox. Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Robert (Bob) O. Cone, Jr.; sons, Robert O. Cone, III and wife Gail, William J. (Bill) Cone and wife Mary, and Kerry G. Cone and wife Caroline; grandchildren, Courtney Jane Cone, Katherine Lois Cone, Mason Robert Cone, Erin Marie Anderson, Lisa Diane Bodet and husband R.T., Jennifer Leigh Cone, William Kerry Cone and wife Laura, Angela Marie Morgan and husband Greg, Amy Elizabeth Cone, Katherine Coleman Black and William Robert Black and wife Megan; five great-grandchildren; her loving caretaker, Alice Martinez. The family would like to thank the medical and hospice team at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center and Advanced Home Health for their loving care and compassion.
