Billy Y. Hunter, age 56 of Seguin, passed away on January 24, 2008. Visitation will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Sunday January 27, 2008 from 2 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Chapel with Pastor Ed Bilderback officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Billy was born on March 8, 1951 in Smith County Tennessee to Tobe and Cora Key Hunter. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Claude Hunter. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Julia M. Hunter; children, Victoria Hunter, James Hunter and fiancé Katie Imhoff, Deborah Hunter and Robert Hunter; Sister, Ruthie Salmon and husband Randy; brother, Sam Hunter and wife Sissy; numerous nieces and nephews; Billy was a dedicated and honorable husband, father and brother. He was a committed employee of Earth Transport for 13 years. He was a member at Living Waters Worship Center, nearly from its beginning. Through all 12 years, he served faithfully in many capacities—usher, board member, over the lawn care ministry and much more. He loved God, his wife Julie, and his four children with all his heart.
