Billy Joe Hurley, age 79 of Seguin, passed away on March 19, 2018. Graveside services and interment will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 2 p.m. at San Geronimo Cemetery with Rev. Jim Price officiating. Bill was born on February 22, 1939 in Kingsbury, Texas to Jonah Robert and Mary Adeline (Easterling) Hurley. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working cattle and all other animals. He loved spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his second and third wives, Joyline Volkmann and Alicia Smith Hurley and his former wife and mother of his children Betty McQuaig Hurley, his daughter, Jo Ann Hurley, his parents, his brothers, James Hurley and Jack Hurley, and his sisters, Nelta Brooks, Arlene Hurley and Dorothy Hurley. Survivors include his children, Norma Jean Hurley Vader and husband Keith, and Jason Wayne Hurley and wife Shirley; grandchildren, Angela Hurley, Colton Vader and wife Amanda, Lilly Hurley Aguirre and husband Trey, and Jake Hurley; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Gladys Row and husband Johnny, and Sharon Elley; numerous step-children and step-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and friends. He will be missed by all his family and friends.
