Obituary

Billy Wayne Wilkinson, age 69 of Seguin, went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2014. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park followed by graveside services and interment at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Ed Bilderback officiating. Billy was born on November 1, 1945 in Comal County to Olive Etoy and Dollie (Meneley) Wilkinson. On June 25, 1964, Billy married Pearl Lee Gutz. He worked at Mission Valley Mills in New Braunfels for many years. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and watching football. He is preceded in death by his parents and his uncles, June, Edgar, Elder, Bill and Ernest Wilkinson, Jeff, Morris and Jr. Meneley, aunts, Dollie Wilkinson Nance, Minnie Wilkinson Greer, Ethel Wilkinson, and Joy Meneley Timmermann. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Pearl Wilkinson; sons, Stephen Wayne Wilkinson and Brian Wayne Wilkinson; brother, Ronnie Wilkinson and wife Alice; nephews, Stoney Wilkinson and wife Ali, and Joey Wilkinson; great nieces, Chassadi and Brianna Wilkinson; aunts, Dean Wilkinson Nance, Billie Jean Wilkinson, Helen Meneley and Frances Meneley; brother-in-law, James Gutz and wife Lollie; sisters-in-law, Margie Hermes and husband Jerry, and Beverly Boos and husband James; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members survive him. Billy will be dearly missed by his family. Memorial contributions may be made to Living Waters Worship Center, 3325 Texas Hwy. 46, Seguin, Texas, 78155.
