Bob Allen "Bobby" Hoffmann, age 67 of Seguin, passed away on January 24, 2017. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Cross Church at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jim Price officiating. Interment will follow in Eden Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Cross Church Fellowship Hall. Bobby was born on June 13, 1949 in Seguin to Alvin Rudolph and Annie Margaret (Stobbs) Hoffmann. Bobby was a member of the Seguin High School class of '67 where he served as Vice President and President of the Seguin FFA, and was awarded the Star Chapter Farmer. After graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After his discharge, Bobby returned to Seguin where he owned and operated Hoffmann Electric Motors for many years, at which time he was a sponsor of Seguin Little League. Bobby loved to hunt and was a Hunter's Safety Instructor. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Hoffmann; and his father, Alvin. Bobby is survived by his mother, Annie Stobbs Hoffmann; his sister, Carol Henze (Gilbert), brother, Larry Hoffmann (Sheila Hahn Hoffmann), and Earl Hoffmann; nieces and nephews, Michael Henze (Jill), Matthew Hoffmann (Andrea), and Kelly Hoffmann Garcia (Eric); great-niece and great-nephews, John Henze, Grace Henze, Holden Hoffmann, and Gavin Garcia; aunts, Ella Jahns, Hannah Lori Hoffmann, Jessie Mae Marion, Eleanore Montgomery, and Elizabeth Stobbs; numerous cousins, other loving family members and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Hoffmann, Michael Henze, Gilbert Henze, Eric Garcia, Teddy Bob Imhoff, Billy Imhoff, Allen Bode, and Steve Koehler. Honorary pallbearers are Holden Hoffmann, John and Grace Henze, and Gavin Garcia. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cross Church Building Fund, 814 N. Bauer, Seguin, Texas or to the charity of one's choice.
