Obituary

Brenda Lee McDougal, age 82 of Seguin, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Brenda was born on December 5, 1939 in West Salem, Illinois to Annetta (Balding) and Forrest A. Lindsey.  She retired after 30 years of service from A T & T where she was a Resource Manager for the Telecom Division.  In retirement she served as an advocate for CASA of Central Texas and also served as a Volunteer at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center.  Brenda's most precious time was spent with her family, most especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Brenda is preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, MSgt. Caroll Lynn "Mack" McDougal, USAF, (Ret.), her parents, her brothers, Dale Lindsey and Forest Lindsey, her sister, Rowena Bosela, and her step-daughter, Lynn Ellen McDougal.

Survivors include her children, Beth Ann Narke and husband Matt, David McDougal, Kelly Coffman and husband Kenny, and Brad McDougal and wife Audrey; grandchildren who knew her as "Nana", Kolton Coffman,  Kyle Coffman and Ceirra Flores, Karlee Coffman and fiancé Cayden Baker, Brady McDougal, Morgan McDougal, and Aaron McDougal; great-grandchildren, Keslee Suede and Kooper Charles Coffman; sisters, Sally Berry and husband Wilburn, and Joanie Johnson and husband Rick; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members.

The family is grateful to Mary Sifuentes, Hope Hospice and all of Brenda's caregivers that took such loving care of her.  Brenda was so loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all.

Private services will be held.  Private interment will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
