Brian Michael Geer passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017, at the age of 77. He was born in Peoria, Illinois to Roy Geer and Verla Williams Geer on May 21, 1940.
He was raised in Clinton, IL and retired from the Air Force after 21 years, including a tour in Vietnam. He earned a BA from SIUE in Speech Pathology and later embraced his passion of antique refinishing, antique collecting and consulting, working primarily at Prindable Auction Services, Belleville, IL. A resident of Seguin, Texas for the past 8 years, Brian moved here to work in his son's business, Mesquite Furniture of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: David Geer, Robert Young, and Janice Geer Link.
His Survivors include: His sister, Jo Elaine Geer Fatheree of Clinton, Illinois; His daughter, Teresa Geer and her daughter, Anna Geer of Sequim, Washington. His son, Michael Geer and wife Amy and their children: Charis, Ezra, Daniel, Elijah, Audrey, Wesley, Silas, Rayya, Nathan, Halliah, Emma, Hadassah & Eben of Seguin, Texas; and Carol Miller Geer of Sequim Washington, his wife for almost 32 of his years; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends all over the country.
A memorial for friends and family to be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11am at Lifegate Church Fellowship Hall, 395 Lifegate Lane, Seguin, Texas.
