Dr. Bruce R. Alter, age 64 of Seguin, passed away on January 25, 2008. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 11:00 to 6:30 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 6:30 p.m. in the Tres Hewell Chapel. Dr. Alter was born on May 10, 1943 in Seattle, Washington to Jesse Boyd and Mary Louise Huff Alter. He is preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law. Survivors include his wife, Leticia Alter; son, Bruce Robert (Bobby) Alter, Jr.; daughter, Kari Alter; sisters, Susan and Nadine; brother, Daniel; Mother-in-law; brothers-in-law; beloved dog, Chiquita; numerous other relatives. Dr. Alter loved the medical profession, especially caring for his patients. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
