Carol Jean (Uhr) Everett, age 75 of Seguin, passed away on January 14, 2018. Visitation will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Tom Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. Carol was born on October 2, 1942 in Seguin, Texas to Arthur Theodore and Evelyn Margaret (Fritz) Uhr. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Robert W. "Bob" Everett, her parents, brother, Kenneth Ray Uhr and brother-in-law, Billy Travis Everett. Survivors include her sons, Christopher S. Everett and Mark Everett; daughter, Michelle M. Everett Hammond; grandchildren, Christina L. Everett Werley, Brentley W. Everett, Miranda P. Everett, Addison P. Marchand and husband Quinlan, Travis West Everett, Hunter Ray Hammond; great- grandchildren, Dylan B. McCombs, Tristan Werley and Raelyn Marchand; brother-in-law, David F. Wallace; sisters-in-law, Betty Jo Everett and Brenda Ayotte and husband Danny; goddaughter, Michelle Dearth; several nieces and nephews, many other special relatives and many dear friends and her beloved pet dog Minnie.
