Carolyn Louise Halepaska, age 76, of Boerne, Texas passed away in San Antonio, Texas on June 14, 2022.  She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend.

Carolyn was born on August 29, 1945 in Luling, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Terry Stautzenberger, Sr. She is preceded in death by her parents, Terry & Elsie Stautzenberger & brother, Terry Stautzenberger, Jr.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 55 years, Frank G. Halepaska, daughter, Angela Halepaska of Boerne, Texas and son, Terry Halepaska and wife Kathleen of Sandia, Texas.  She leaves behind two grandchildren, Hannah and Rebekah. She also leaves behind her brother, Freddie Stautzenberger and wife Karen and sister, Cathy Rust and husband Ronnie.

Carolyn graduated from Seguin High School in 1963 and went on to marry Frank and raise two children, Angela & Terry.  She went back to complete her education at San Antonio College when her two children were in high school. She accomplished her Associates Degree and received her licensing to become a Registered Nurse. She then worked at Methodist Hospital in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit for 17 dedicated years. Carolyn was extremely personable & never knew a stranger. She had diversified talents and had a gift for gab. Carolyn spent many hours quilting, making ceramics and crocheting.

Carolyn and the love of her life, Frank, just celebrated their 55 ^th wedding anniversary on May 28 ^th . With many years of love came many memories, laughter & jokes, specifically the 'Moo'. Frank and Carolyn were married on her parents' dairy farm & in the middle of the ceremony, the dairy cows started repeatedly moo-ing. The 'Moo' became their inside joke and reminder of their vows. During their life, they ran a filling station, raised two children and enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing.

On behalf of our family, we would like to thank all medical professionals, family and friends that cared for and supported her and our family throughout her illness.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in Seguin, Texas at Tres Hewell Mortuary with Visitation from 8:30-10 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Tom Jones officiating. A procession to Kingsbury cemetery will follow for graveside services at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Society.
