Carry V. Valdez, age 66 of Seguin, passed away on August 13, 2009. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel. Private interment will be held at a later date. Carry was born on June 1, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to Cruz M. and Emma Velasquez Vigil. Her daughter, Velma Valdez, son, Jerry Valdez, her parents and her brothers, Fred Vigil and Steve Vigil precede her in death. Survivors include her husband, Hugo Valdez; children, Victor Valdez, Angie Valdez, Mary Raulz and husband, Gerald, Isabella Seales and husband, Michael and Veronica Valdez; brothers, Cruz Vigil and wife, Becky, Ricky Vigil, Danny Vigil, Roy Vigil and wife, Maria, Gilbert Vigil and partner, Kay and Carlos Vigil and wife, Debbie; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
