Charles A. (Al) Berry, age 89 of Seguin, passed away on March 10, 2019. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 10 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Carl McCauley officiating. A reception will follow in Karrick Hall at First Presbyterian Church. Private interment will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Al was born on April 16, 1929 in Mc Rae Arkansas to William and Minnie (Hill) Berry. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years of service. Al is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ruth A. Berry, and his brother William E. Berry. Survivors include his sons, Terry A. Stephan and wife Sue, Michael L. Stephan and wife Nina, Charles A. Berry, Jr., Dennis James Berry and wife Lynn, Robert R. Ducker and wife Beverly; daughters, Elizabeth A. Berry, Carol Carson and husband Michael, Susan O'Kelley and husband Carroll; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and friends. Al was an active member of the Seguin Noon Lions Club, he was also a volunteer driver for the American Cancer Society since 1989. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
