Charles Andrew (Andy) Brieden, age 37 of Seguin, passed away on September 30, 2008. Visitation will be held Friday, October 3, 2008 from 12 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Chaplain Tom Jones and Pastor Bill Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Dugger Cemetery. Andy was the first baby boy born in the new Cuero Hospital on November 19, 1970 in Cuero, Texas to Charles Henry and Jo Ann Kristek Brieden. He was a 1989 graduate of Seguin High School and a 1996 graduate of Texas Lutheran University. He was the former owner of Smokin Charlies and Oasis Tan and Body Salon. He loved to travel and will always be remembered as a fun, loving and happy person. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond Clyde (Sonny) and Rosie Knippa of Seguin and Henry and Jodie Brieden of Stockdale. Survivors include his parents, Charles and Jo Ann Brieden; brothers, Mark Allen Nesbitt, Larry Nesbitt and wife Lana, and Ricky Weidner; sister, Natalie Naumann; nephew, Gary James Nesbitt; niece, Amanda Nicole Nesbitt; numerous other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Roland Talley, Wes Lange, Freddy Sanchez, Roy Frazier, Jerry Broz and Adrian Hernandez.
