Obituary

Charles Henry Brieden, age 83 of Seguin, passed away on March 28, 2012. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 12 to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel, followed by funeral services at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Jeremy Roy officiating. Interment will follow in Dugger Cemetery. Charles was born in Medina County, Texas on December 30, 1928 to Henry Andrew and Jodie Bailey Adcock Brieden. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by his son, Charles Andrew (Andy) Brieden and his parents. Survivors include his wife Jo Ann Brieden; sons, Mark Allen Nesbitt, Larry G. Nesbitt and wife Lana; grandchildren, Gary Nesbitt and wife Alyssa, and Amanda Talley and husband Barrett; great- grandchildren, Maddalynn Nesbitt and Connor Talley; sisters, Dorothy Holguin, Evelyn Pullin and husband Calvin Ray, and Ann Smithey and husband Raymond; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Broz, Kevin Holguin, Drew Pullin, Roland Talley, Rick Wiedner, James Williams, Sr., Ronnie Pullin and Robert Bornemann. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, P. O. Box 26460, Austin, Texas, 78755-0460.
