Charles Wayne May, age 59 of Seguin passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Jimmie Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Floyd Chapel Cemetery in Gonzales County.
Charles was born on July 22, 1955 in Seguin Texas to Stayton Henry and Ola Ellen (Bales) May. He will be remembered as a long time truck driver with the CB handle of "Navajo".
Charles is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Leona McKinney, Joyce Kepler, Doris Bell and Helen Hale.
Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Pam May; daughter, Charlene May and son-in-law, George Vaquera; grandson, Mason Vaquera; brothers, Arthur May, Aubry May, George May, Vernon May and wife Elaine, and Nathan May; sister, Stella Hale and husband Darrell; mother-in-law, Edith Simons; brothers-in-law, Steve Mayfield and wife Kay, Wayne Mayfield and wife Delane, and Tom Mayfield and wife Frances; sister-in-law, Paula Keyes and husband Shon; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mike Cleveland, Tom Mayfield and Shon Keyes. Pallbearers will be George Vaquera, Aubry May, George May, Vernon May, Nathan May and Wayne Mayfield.
