On Tuesday, May 12, 2020 Charles West at the age of 63 was called home to be with his heavenly Father Jesus Christ.

Chuck was born on March 10, 1957 in San Francisco, CA to Carol Fauset.
He married the love of his life, Lora, on February 14, 1997 and became part of her family. Lora's mother was Mama and Lora's father was Daddy. Each family member had a special place in his heart.

He was a strong Christian and always had the honor of giving thanks for our family meals. Chuck's image was the Marlboro Man, handsome, rugged, with beautiful blue eyes. A veteran, carpenter, mechanic, and heavy equipment operator – Chuck was blessed with many talents but none greater than his willingness to help others. He had great empathy for people who struggled in life, touching many lives through his good deeds, and selfless acts.

His hobbies were numerous, including small engine repair and remote controlled airplanes. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his step children and wife Lora, taking them fishing, playing video games with Travis and Trey, and watching cartoons. With an insatiable appetite, Chuck loved food and sweets, particularly sour candy.

He was preceded in death by his mother Carol Glessner. He is survived by his step children, Travis and Trey Burkett and Michelle (Jarrett) Finch and their son Austin. His sister in law Eileen (Wayne) Bruce and mother in law Kathleen Schroeder.
His children Ginger West and Anthony Udesen, his brothers John Kennedy, David West and sister Crystal West along with step sisters Linda Glessner and Shelbia Rodriquez, and many grandchildren. And finally by his wife Lora of 23 years who will always remember him as her Superman!

Chuck will be cremated. Due to Covid-19 pandemic we are having a private memorial and will be providing a link on YouTube. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lora West's GoFundMe page to help with funeral arrangements and living expenses.
